Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with a strong emphasis on patient safety and quality imaging. You will prepare patients, follow imaging protocols, and ensure proper data handling while supporting licensed practitioners.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to radiation safety, and the ability to educate and collaborate with students and healthcare teams in diverse clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT-R registry within 6 months; progression to level 2 within 24 months if hiring after the specified date.
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, properly identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and ensure data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures in various settings.
• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures independently or with supervision, ensuring accuracy and safety.
