Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology, the ideal candidate will work in a dynamic clinical environment, collaborate with healthcare teams, and contribute to ongoing education and safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Proficiency in all assigned duties, including complex procedures, is essential.
• Ability to work in a clinical environment and support departmental priorities is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient information, ensure proper identification, and prepare patients for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles to maximize patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access under practitioner supervision, documenting activities accurately.
• Evaluate images for proper positioning and quality, verify data storage, and perform post-processing as needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, supporting their learning and safety.
• Assist practitioners during fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside of radiology settings.
• Perform routine and complex radiographic procedures, including in operating rooms, ICUs, and endoscopy suites.
• Participate in quality improvement activities, demonstrate commitment to organizational priorities, and ensure compliance with policies.
