Job summary

Geisinger is seeking Radiologic Technologists to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to ALARA principles. The role includes preparing medications and documenting radiation exposure in compliance with laws and policy.

New graduates must obtain ARRT-R within 6 months of hire; a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire date.
• Graduation from Radiologic Technology program (Required for role).

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures ensuring patient safety and ALARA.
• Prepare and document medications and radiation exposure per policy.
• Evaluate image quality and verify data archival/transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and other healthcare staff.
• Assist licensed practitioner in fluoroscopic procedures and in OR/ICU settings.
