Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on safety and quality. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient confidentiality, and collaborate with licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, verifying histories, applying ALARA principles, and contributing to image quality and data security across clinical settings. New grads must obtain ARRT-R within 6 months and progress to level 2 within 24 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months.
• Applicants hired after a specified date must progress to level 2 within 24 months.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, patient safety, and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient identification, prepare patients, and document clinical history accurately.
• Apply appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access under supervision.
• Evaluate images for quality, verify data transfer, and ensure proper storage and post-processing.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist in fluoroscopic and specialized procedures in operating rooms and ICU.
