Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality in line with ALARA principles. The role involves preparing patients, administering medications when prescribed, and documenting radiation activities per laws and policies.

The position supports education of students and providers and requires collaboration with licensed practitioners in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within six months.
• Advancement to level 2 within 24 months for new hires (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient orders, verify identity, and prepare patients for exams, respecting confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure safety.
• Evaluate images for quality, verify data transfer, and perform post-processing as needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside the Radiology Department.
