Responsibilities

Obtain correct orders, identify patients, prepare for exams, and document clinical histories with confidentiality.
Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to ensure safety.
Prepare, administer, and document medications or radiation exposure as prescribed.
Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and ensure data is stored or transferred correctly.
Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside the radiology department.
