Job summary

Silvi Materials seeks a Regional QC Manager for the PA region to lead QC Technicians across nine site locations. You will supervise field and lab testing of concrete, ensure compliance with specifications, and coordinate with plant operations to optimize mixtures before delivery.

This role requires travel across SE PA, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work overtime, including weekends. You will mentor staff, resolve quality issues, and uphold safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering; industry experience preferred but not required.
• Travel with own vehicle; mileage and tolls reimbursed.
• Flexible hours, overtime, Saturdays and night pours as required.
• Willing to work outdoors and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing QC Technicians at Silvi, PA site locations (9 sites in total).
• Arrives at the plant or job site prior to the first concrete delivery.
• Performs testing of aggregate and concrete for gradation, moisture, slump, air content, temperature.
• Maintains contact with plant operations and QC to adjust the mixture as needed.
• When concrete is delivered to job sites, places some batch in cylinders.
• In the lab, tests compressive strength of concrete cylinders and compares to design values.
• Communicates information to appropriate individuals/agencies; supervises field service issues.
