Job summary

County Materials Family of Companies manufactures and delivers concrete construction products. We are hiring a Location Quality Control Manager to lead QA/QC for precast and concrete operations in Youngwood, PA.

You will supervise QC staff, manage mix designs, and ensure PCI/ACI/ASTM compliance while supporting safety and efficiency. The role requires 6–8 years of QC experience in concrete manufacturing, strong analytical and leadership skills, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 6–8 years of quality control experience in concrete manufacturing.
• Experience in precast or batch plant QC; construction/materials industry exposure.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong math, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• ACI Field Technician Level I required.
• Travel roughly 10% of time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QC technicians and assign daily QC tasks.
• Perform inspections, testing, and monitoring of concrete production.
• Ensure compliance with PCI, ACI, ASTM and internal standards.
• Develop, maintain and optimize concrete mix designs.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare quality control documentation and reports.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in the plant.
