Job summary

CCS Fundraising is seeking a Senior Director of Proposals to lead the regional proposal function, guiding strategy, quality, and performance. The role combines hands-on proposal writing with senior-level collaboration to advance CCS's sales enablement and win rates.

The Senior Director will manage a team, partner with executives, and drive improvements in templates, content, and processes, with hybrid work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in proposal writing, project management, business development, or a related role.
• Experience in professional services or nonprofit sectors is a plus.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills with attention to design and visuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal writers and manage day-to-day workflow with coaching and feedback.
• Oversee strategy and quality of regional proposal materials and sales content.
• Partner with executives to align proposal strategy with growth opportunities.
• Monitor KPIs, trackers, and reporting to optimize win rates.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, and Partnerships for consistency.
