Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a facilities project manager to lead capital projects and lifecycle Management across the US/CA region. You will ensure safety, compliance, and alignment with educational needs while delivering on time and within budget. Responsibilities include managing landlords and contractors, monitoring progress, and producing KPIs and reports.

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management, civil engineering, MEP engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent
• Project management certification preferred
• Experience in facilities lifecycle management: planning, design, construction, operations
• Experience managing capex and operating budgets
• Experience managing external contractors and suppliers
• Experience multi-site or regional portfolios preferred
• Experience across North America or international environments desirable
• Ability to travel across the region

Responsibilities

• Deliver capital projects and support the full facilities lifecycle across a portfolio in the USCa Region
• Ensure all school infrastructure is safe, compliant, and aligned with educational and operational needs
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Manage relationships with landlords, tenants, consultants, contractors, and authorities
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and capex planning
• Monitor construction progress, quality, and risks

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or MEP Engineering (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), Industrial Engineer, or similar background
• Project Management certification (preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM or similar design tools (preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to travel across the region
• Proven experience in facilities lifecycle management, including planning, design, construction, and facilities operations
• Experience managing capex and operational budgets
• Experience managing external contractors and suppliers
• Experience managing multi‑site or regional portfolios preferred
• Experience working across North America (US and Canada) or in international environments is highly desirable
