Job summary

KETTLER is seeking a Regional Manager to lead all operations of the apartment portfolio in the Washington, DC area. You will focus on maximizing revenue and NOI, asset preservation, enforcing efficient operations, and developing teams to create a positive work environment.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, this role oversees budgeting, marketing strategies, maintenance programs, and compliance across multiple properties, driving results while mentoring property staff and ensuring exceptional

Qualifications

BA or BS or CPM degree required.
Minimum 5 years of multi-site management experience.
Experience with LIHTC, Tax-exempt Bonds, and subsidized housing.
Excellent knowledge of eviction law and Fair Housing.
Strong computer skills with MS Word/Excel/Outlook and property management software (MRI, Yardi).
Ability to walk properties and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

Manage portfolio financial performance by creating and achieving annual operating budgets and analyzing monthly P&L statements.
Provide budget guidelines to establish income/expense benchmarks and staffing levels.
Monitor revenue plans, delinquencies, deposits and payables for best interest of the company.
Review turnover procedures and capital improvements within budget.
Approve invoices and ensure timely property checks and reporting to owners.
Coach and support Community Managers and staff training.
