Job summary

RR Living is seeking a Director of Operations to lead multiple communities and drive financial and operational performance. You will manage property operations, portfolio financial results, and talent development while ensuring resident satisfaction and asset preservation.

You will guide teams across communities, monitor occupancy targets, and execute strategies to outperform market benchmarks. Travel will be extensive to oversee assets and collaborate with leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multiple properties or communities with P&L oversight.
• Ability to drive occupancy and revenue growth across a portfolio.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and talent development skills.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% and manage remote assets.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational improvements and occupancy targets across communities.
• Manage budgets, expenses, and net operating income for assets.
• Monitor market conditions and competitive positioning.
• Lead through downturns to maintain market-leading performance.
• Develop and mentor a team of regional managers and site staff.
• Ensure property upkeep, preventive maintenance, and timely service requests.
