Why You’ll Love GIT

At Gaines Investment Trust, we believe our people are our greatest investment.

Founded in 1966, GIT is a 100% family‑owned real estate investment and management company with 60 years of ownership and management experience.

Unlike third‑party management companies, we own and operate our communities. Our decisions are made with a long‑term ownership perspective rather than around short‑term management contracts.

For a Regional Property Manager, that means the opportunity to truly understand your assets, develop your teams, implement strategies, and see the long‑term impact of your leadership.

Our Dallas portfolio also provides a unique advantage: your assigned communities are located within a relatively concentrated geographic area, allowing you to spend more time leading your teams and improving property performance and less time traveling between distant markets.

We Offer
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Performance‑based bonuses
  • Minimal regional travel with a locally concentrated portfolio
  • Rent Discount
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, and Floating Holiday
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
  • Company‑paid Life Insurance
  • Optional Short‑Term Disability, Long‑Term Disability, and AD&D Insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Pet Insurance
  • Long‑term career opportunities with an established, privately held organization

If you're an experienced Regional Property Manager who is ready to lead strong teams, take ownership of portfolio performance, and build your career with a long‑term multifamily owner, we'd like to hear from you.
