GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY

The Caleb Group is seeking a Regional Property Manager (RPM) to manage a portfolio of affordable housing developments throughout New England. This position requires travel within the New England region, and candidates must be located in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, or Maine.

The RPM is responsible for management oversight, maximizing revenue, maintaining positive resident relations, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring properties meet key performance indicators as established by The Caleb Group. This position reports to the Director of Property Management (DPM).

Requirements

1. Required Travel 50% to 75%
2. Experience as a supervisor of multi-family housing or at least five (5) years of experience managing multi-family housing.
3. Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Policies, including Fair Housing policies affecting low-income, Section 8 property management.
4. Experience in generating property budgets and managing affordable housing developments, including HUD, Low Income Tax Credits, Rural Housing, and Tax-Exempt Bond properties.
5. Knowledge of financial management.
6. Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
7. Ability to manage effective teams and develop strategic solutions.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Ability to define and solve problems.
10. Understanding and respect for diverse values, attitudes, and beliefs, with the ability to respond appropriately across cultures.
11. Familiarity with community organizations, services, and programs.
12. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of Yardi software.
13. Valid driver’s license to legally operate a motor vehicle.
