Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Regional Project Lead for the IG South PROS team, based in Pasadena, TX or Gonzales, LA. The role oversees a capital projects group covering 150+ plants in the US Southeast region and requires up to 20% travel.

You will mentor Project Engineers, coordinate delivery with operations and maintenance, and drive safety and project execution standards. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in manufacturing capital projects, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing plant operations, maintenance, or capital projects.
• Strong project management skills across development, forecasting, and execution.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and planning abilities.
• Willing to work varied hours and travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Project Engineering team including Project Engineers and Construction Managers.
• Ensure project processes from initiation to closeout are followed within the region.
• Serve as main contact between facilities, business partners, maintenance and engineering.
• Manage staffing for the region to meet project demand, including allocated staff.
• Oversee TAR planning and staffing for large plant turnarounds.
• Mentor engineers and review funding requests and project estimates.
• Ensure operability and hazard reviews are completed timely.
• Coordinate contractor development and contingent worker strategy.
• Lead monthly project status and gatekeeping meetings with regional partners.
