Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a Project Control Supervisor to lead the Project Controls organization, aligning with corporate standards and managing a portfolio of frontline responsibilities. The role supports strategic goals and KPIs across the business area.

You will work with capital project teams, supervise a team of project control specialists, and drive scheduling, cost tracking, and tool development to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management or related field.
• 5 years project management / project controls experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in project scheduling, reporting, and planning methods.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling tools (Primavera).
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop capital project schedules and validate scope in the schedule.
• Provide project cost tracking and reporting to management.
• Develop and control work orders within the ERP platform.
• Evolve business area procedures in line with standards.
• Maintain project tools across the business area.
• Provide regional supervision to the regional Project Control specialists.
• Manage a team of individuals working with Capital Project teams.
