Xcel Energy is seeking a Project Control Supervisor to lead the Project Controls team, align with corporate standards, and oversee a portfolio of capital projects. The role involves developing schedules, cost tracking, and partnership with project teams in a hybrid work environment.

The position requires a engineering/related degree, 5+ years in project controls, and strong scheduling expertise. PMP and SAP experience are preferred, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or 6 years related experience substituted for the degree.
• 5 years project management / project controls experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in scheduling, reporting, and project planning methods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and scheduling tools.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop capital project schedules and validate scope inclusion in schedule.
• Provide project cost tracking and reporting to management.
• Develop and control execution of work orders in ERP platform.
• Evolve business area procedures in line with corporate standards.
• Supervise a team of project controls staff and coordinate with capital project teams.
