Xcel Energy is seeking a Standard Operations Project Manager to provide end-to-end project management for large, complex initiatives. You will lead planning, cost tracking, and cross-functional coordination to ensure alignment with business goals and effective resource management.

In this hybrid onsite role, you will drive requirements, design solutions, manage vendor contracts, and oversee risk mitigation and project closure while communicating with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualificações

• 8 years work experience in operations, technology, finance, or comparable function.
• 5 - 7 years' experience in project management and process improvement.
• Some formal project management training preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others, informal leadership experience and training skills preferred.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills; excellent written/verbal communications skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide end-to-end project management, leadership and coordination for large complex projects or as part of a transformational project with responsibility for scope, schedule, cost and risk.
• Ensure alignment of financial and operational goals between projects and the business unit.
• Develop strategic sequencing and milestone schedules, project-level cost tracking and reconciliation.
• Lead requirements gathering and planning, develop solution design, and secure internal/external approvals.
• Manage resources and contracts, and mentor project team members.
