Job summary

Montana Conservation Corps is seeking a Regional Program Manager to oversee MCC field programs within a region, supervise regional Field Coordinators, and ensure safe, high‑quality program delivery. You will guide participant onboarding, program reporting, and partner coordination to achieve objectives.

You will also manage training budgets, ensure policy compliance, and support leadership development while fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment for crews across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong interpersonal and administrative skills; clear written and verbal communication.
• Three years of experience in youth development, outdoor recreation, education, or natural resource work.
• Proficient with Word/Excel and cloud-based collaboration tools (G Suite).
• Ability to be away on overnight trips up to a week.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.
• Ability to obtain Wilderness Advanced First-Aid/CPR certification; advanced levels preferred.
• Ability to pass a Criminal History Check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee selection of Crew Leaders and Crew Members; conduct interviews and references.
• Manage onboarding tasks with the State Office administrative team.
• Coordinate crew rosters and personnel to meet program objectives.
• Monitor participant wellness and safety during onboarding and field operations.
• Ensure timely submission of Timesheets, Reports, and evaluations.
• Maintain regional tracking systems and regional training budgets.
