Job summary

HealthCorps, Inc. seeks a Director of Programs to lead the Midwest/Appalachia portfolio, overseeing multi-state grants, supervising regional staff, and guiding operational strategy for federally funded initiatives.

You will cultivate strategic partnerships with school districts, funders, and community organizations, ensure grant compliance and robust reporting, and drive outcomes that advance HealthCorps’ mission across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in youth development, education, nonprofit leadership, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing federal or other large public grant funded programs.
• 5+ years of leading programs and managing teams across multiple sites or regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Regional Program Managers and Regional Program Coordinators across multiple states.
• Build and maintain relationships with school districts, funders, community organizations, and key stakeholders.
• Oversee federally funded programs ensuring compliance with grant requirements, timelines and reporting.
• Monitor program outcomes and budgets, and drive regional expansion and continuity across sites.
