Job summary

HealthCorps in Philadelphia is seeking a Part-time Regional Program Coordinator to implement a community-wide wellness program, train near-peer mentors, and coordinate health activities at local middle and high schools.

You will build partnerships with schools and universities, supervise mentors, schedule events, and promote engagement through social media while traveling to program sites to support the mission of improving youth health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Recent college graduate with passion for health, education or service.
• Self-starter, organized, detail-oriented and creative.
• Experience mentoring youth and building relationships with schools and districts.
• Commitment to addressing health disparities in communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with universities, schools and district staff to deliver health programming across 15–25 sites.
• Recruit, train, onboard and oversee near‑peer mentors for in‑school program delivery.
• Assess community needs and measure impact through reporting and tracking.
• Support delivery of HealthCorps activities, events and mentor logistics.
• Deliver HealthCorps program in school and community settings when needed.
• Promote HealthCorps initiatives through social media and partner communications.
• Uphold HealthCorps mission and foster accessible health for all.
