Job summary

WestCare Inc. in Fresno, CA seeks a Senior Program Manager to provide clinical and administrative leadership for California Region programs.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, supervise staff, and drive policy development and performance standards across facilities. The role requires a master’s degree in social work or related field (or equivalent executive experience) and at least five years of supervisory work with justice-involved, substance abuse, or Veteran populations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five (5) years’ supervisory experience working with the justice-involved, substance abuse and/or Veteran population is preferred.
• Master’s degree in social work or related field is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field or equivalent years of experience in an executive position is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned programs.
• Direct, train, and supervise the work of all assigned support staff members.
• Develop goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Interpret WestCare policies & procedures to staff, the public, and stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison with law enforcement, judicial authorities, external groups, and agencies in promoting inter-organizational collaboration.
• Review each employee’s job performance on a yearly basis and make recommendations on advancement.
• Develop staff work schedules to ensure proper coverage for all shifts.
• Ensure shift duties are completed timely and in line with procedures.
