Qualifications

• 4-year College Degree, from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years prior experience as a Plant Manager.
• At least 3 to 5 years with Manufacturing/Operations in a fast-paced, Food Industry environment.
• At least 5 years prior experience in fresh produce, food processing and packaging.
• Strong understanding of Lean & Six Sigma concepts.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership to achieve growth and profitability.
• Oversee daily operations of the plant; meet or exceed annual plan goals.
• Set local sales strategy and pricing for products in the region.
• Regulate pricing to balance minimum loss and maximum profit based on market conditions.
• Review fluctuations in the business and develop action plans to improve margins.
• Coordinate KPI development for functions and direct reports and seek sales opportunities.
• Generate annual marketing plans to support sales goals.
• Ensure understanding of P&L and control deficiencies.
• Control inventories to minimize loss and maximize movement.
• Lead cost containment and labor productivity initiatives.
• Oversee hiring and talent development programs for the facility.
