Job summary

Rexel USA, Inc. in Altoona, PA seeks a Manager Region Procurement to lead a procurement team focused on inventory optimization across the Mayer region. You will manage inventory, obsolescence, and branch profiling while collaborating with Branches and DCs to hit KPIs.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, reviewing critical items, updating replenishment data, and negotiating with suppliers to reduce excess stock. Strong data analytics and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional purchasing/buying experience in the Electrical Distribution Industry.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and manage procurement staff.
• Review critical items below minimum, allocations or stockouts for branches/DCs.
• Process inventory profiling requests from branches/DCs.
• Update Eclipse settings to ensure replenishment data accuracy.
• Explain purchasing practices and vendor metrics; negotiate and monitor.
• Identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
• Present and discuss inventory goals, turns and vendor changes.
• Maintain consistent communications with branches/DCs on issues and initiatives.
• Ensure strong customer service attitude with branches/DCs and sales staff.
• Meet or exceed defined inventory metrics for branches/DCs and supplier lines.
• Assist with supplier returns negotiations to reduce excess stock.
• Some stock procurement/replenishment for branches/DCs and supplier lines.
• Assist branch/DCs with supplier review process/workflow requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
