Job summary

Rexel USA, via the Mayer Team in Altoona, PA, is seeking a Manager Region Procurement to lead a regional procurement group, manage inventory and obsolescence, and drive supply chain performance across Branches and Distribution Centers.

You will mentor staff, optimize replenishment, and partner with vendors to improve turns, forecasts, and supplier metrics while providing strategic guidance to achieve inventory goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional purchasing experience in the Electrical Distribution Industry.
• High School or GED - Required; Bachelor's Degree - Preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor procurement staff across the region.
• Review inventory levels daily and address stock outs.
• Coordinate inventory profiling with Branches/DCs.
• Update replenishment data in Eclipse and optimize forecasting.
• Negotiate supplier terms and returns to reduce excess stock.
• Communicate updates and goals with Branches/DCs.
• Support supplier review processes and reporting.
