Job summary

Loenbro in Bloomfield, NM is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead strategic client relationships and oversee opportunities from identification through award. This role serves as the primary client contact in the region, collaborating with estimating, operations, business development and marketing to deliver competitive proposals.

This role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership to ensure client needs are met through proactive engagement and coordinated project

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in industrial or commercial construction, project management, or business development.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of estimating, bid development, and preconstruction processes.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decisions and build trust.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region to meet with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead client contact for assigned preconstruction and project opportunities.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, general contractors, engineers, and industry partners.
• Identify project opportunities through research, networking, and collaboration with business development and marketing teams.
• Own and manage the opportunity lifecycle from project identification through bid, award, and closeout using Salesforce CRM.
• Lead preconstruction efforts including scope alignment, risk identification, value engineering, and constructability input.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, client presentations, and interviews to support pursuit strategies.
• Work with the Regional Sales Director to execute regional business plans and achieve annual sales targets.
