Job summary

Cone Health in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Practice Administrator I to oversee 1–4 practices and 8–25 providers in the same region. You will ensure site leadership is in place and that the practice delivers target performance across clinical, financial, and operational metrics.

Responsibilities include optimizing provider templates, addressing barriers to productivity, managing revenue cycle and cash handling, enforcing policies, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Healthcare operations experience required or 6+ years in healthcare operations with leadership experience.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle, policy compliance and provider relations.
• Certification in practice management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 1–4 practices and 8–25 providers within the same region or specialty.
• Ensure site leadership coverage and target performance across clinical, financial, and operations metrics.
• Optimize provider templates, improve access, and enhance patient satisfaction and revenue.
• Manage staffing, engage teams, and support recruitment and issue resolution.
• Monitor contracts, reimbursement impacts, and provider relations to improve profitability.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements; drive continuous improvement.
• Drive financial targets, oversee revenue cycle activities including cash handling, coding, and billing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
