Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a Regional Portfolio Management Lead to oversee the commercial loan portfolio for the region and train new Credit Analysts in regional credit fundamentals and lending policy.

The role requires deep commercial credit knowledge, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lead talent development across Market/LOB teams and ensure portfolio quality and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years of commercial underwriting and portfolio management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents; perform calculations and decision-making.
• Ability to read/listen and communicate clearly with executives and partners.
• Ability to facilitate training on commercial credit fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional commercial loan portfolio and asset quality metrics.
• Lead training and onboarding for Credit Analysts and PMs in the region.
• Coordinate with Market/LOB leaders on talent development and performance management.
• Lead regional Asset Quality Meetings and respond to regional lending needs.
• Train analysts on First Horizon’s lending policy, processes and risk appetite.
• Collaborate with peers to develop learning cohorts and initiatives.
