You will handle annual reviews, covenant compliance, and financial collections while partnering with Relationship Managers to grow a high-value, profitable portfolio.

The role blends analytical loan analysis with client-facing collaboration, requiring strong communication with executives and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of commercial underwriting and portfolio management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents; perform calculations and research.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with senior executives and partners.
• Proficient with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, underwriting, origination, and portfolio management of loans in a growing commercial and corporate portfolio.
• Apply loan structuring, risk identification, and mitigation skills.
• Understand and apply the bank's risk grading methodology and credit appetite.
• Manage relationships with CRE and C&I borrowers and partners.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers to develop lending proposals and cross-sell opportunities.
• Oversee post-approval due diligence and loan documentation prep.
• Maintain portfolio quality and servicing standards.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance.
