St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team across multiple on-site lab locations. Responsibilities include collecting blood specimens from patients of all ages, performing outpatient EKGs, operating a centrifuge, and coordinating with the lab central scheduler.

Candidates must have a phlebotomy certificate and strong customer service, with reliable transportation. Full-time shifts vary 6am-10am, 6am-12pm, 6am-2pm or 6am-6pm, with every third Saturday;

Qualifikationen

• Phlebotomy program completion certificate or documented competency (minimum 100 venipunctures) is required.
• Basic computer skills; ability to use Epic or other EHR systems, registration/kiosk workflows.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation to arrive at work locations as scheduled.

Aufgaben

• Interprets verbal and written physician orders and collects blood specimens from patients of all ages.
• Performs outpatient EKGs as needed and operates centrifuge.
• Ensures proper specimen transfer and storage and timely communication with schedulers and coordinators.
• Travels between sites as needed for unscheduled absences or emergencies.
• Adheres to Network and departmental policies and procedures.
