Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a float phlebotomist to provide patient-centered laboratory support across PSC locations.

You will collect quality blood specimens, assist with patient registration, and support Epic workflow processes to ensure accurate documentation and smooth patient care. The role requires phlebotomy competency, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel between PSC sites with short notice.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy program completion certificate or documented competency with ≥100 venipunctures.
• Basic computer skills with Epic or other EHR systems.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to PSC locations on short notice.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work at multiple PSC locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered registration, lab, and diagnostic services in PSC settings.
• Perform phlebotomy across age groups with proper labeling and handling.
• Complete accurate EHR documentation and order processing in Epic.
• Travel between PSC locations to cover staffing needs and emergencies.
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection prevention, and network policies.
