Enterprise is a national nonprofit focused on affordable housing and community development. The Philanthropy Director leads fundraising strategy for the Mid-Atlantic market, cultivating corporate, foundation, and individual funders while collaborating with program teams to meet objectives.

The role requires 6–8 years of fundraising, strong writing and relationship skills, Salesforce and CRM experience, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required.
• 6–8 years of fundraising experience including corporate and foundation fundraising, grant writing and funder relationship management.
• Ability to translate complex program information into clear funder-facing materials.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Salesforce experience preferred and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop fundraising strategy for the Mid-Atlantic market and Enterprise Community Development portfolios.
• Cultivate, solicit and steward corporate, foundation, individual and government funders.
• Identify, research and manage relationships with prospective funders; maintain up-to-date CRM records.
• Prepare funder communications and proposals; collaborate with Grant Writing team on reports and grant submissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align fundraising with program priorities.
