Enterprise is a national nonprofit focused on affordable housing and community development. We are seeking a Director of the Enterprise PMO in New York, hybrid role, to lead prioritization, portfolio management, and execution across strategic initiatives.

You will shape governance, drive coordination across divisions, and oversee enterprise-wide projects while partnering with senior leadership. The role requires 8–12+ years in strategy and PMO leadership, strong communication, and experience

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, enterprise PMO, or cross-functional leadership.
• Experience leading enterprise-level initiatives and portfolio management in complex organizations.
• Entrepreneurial builder’s mindset — energized by operationalizing frameworks and building tools.
• Strong ability to translate strategy into structured execution with governance and tools.
• Proven track record supporting executive decision‑making and facilitating tradeoffs.
• Experience building or operating enterprise PMO systems or portfolio management processes.
• Experience building or developing teams of shared execution resources.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills with high judgment and adaptability.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; ability to produce executive-ready materials.
• Proficiency using AI tools to work more efficiently and elevate outputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise prioritization and portfolio management process across initiatives.
• Build the tools, systems, and processes that facilitate prioritization and portfolio management.
• Prepare quarterly strategy reporting for Strategic Leadership Council meetings.
• Prepare updates and reporting for the COFO, CEO, and Executive Leadership Team on strategy implementation.
• Establish governance, tools, reporting, and change management approaches to support adoption.
• Serve as people manager for shared execution resources, deploying capacity.
• Oversee execution across select high-priority, cross-divisional projects.
• Ensure alignment between prioritization, innovation fund investments, and execution tracking.
