Zusammenfassung

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking a Regional Permitting Manager – Central to lead the permitting of utility-scale solar, BESS, and HV projects across the Central region. This role manages the full permitting lifecycle from strategy to closeout and serves as the main contact with AHJs and internal teams.

Initially remote, the position will be based full-time in Denver, CO or Dallas, TX, with up to 50% travel. Requires 7+ years in permitting, strong regulatory knowledge, and a relevant Bachelor's degree.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of permitting, land use or project development in utility-scale solar or EPC construction.
• Hands-on experience managing permitting for large-scale solar, BESS, HV projects.
• Deep knowledge of AHJ requirements and regulatory frameworks in the region.
• Experience with federal agencies (BLM, Army Corps, USFWS) and state/local agencies.
• Ability to read civil, electrical, and structural drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; build relationships with AHJs.
• Strong organizational skills; manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Studies, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or related field preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively within the region (50%+) with occasional national travel.

Aufgaben

• Manage full permitting lifecycle for assigned projects within the region, from permit strategy through closeout.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate submittals of permit applications (building, electrical, grading, SWPPP, CUP, fire).
• Maintain permitting records, logs, and status reports for active projects.
• Track permitting timelines and communicate to Project Managers and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with SOLV Engineering to ensure AHJ compliance before submittal.
• Oversee plan check responses, correction letters, and resubmittals.
• Ensure permits are obtained promptly without compromising compliance.
