Job summary

Hermanson Co., LLP is seeking a highly organized Permit Coordinator to manage the end-to-end permit process for mechanical and plumbing projects in the Puget Sound region. You will work closely with Project Managers and Sales staff to ensure accurate documentation, online permit submissions, and timely renewals.

The role requires coordinating with city permit offices, assisting with badge applications and background checks, and occasionally traveling to project sites.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the mechanical and plumbing permit application approvals, issuances, plan submittals and payments.
• Serve as primary contact with Permit Offices and maintain relationships with City Permit Offices.
• Travel within the Puget Sound region for permit processing and project sites when required.
• Support project managers and field leadership; assist with badging and background checks as needed.
• Update permit logs, track approvals, extensions, and renewals; ensure timely document handling.
