Breen and Sullivan Mechanical Service seeks a Northeast Regional Payroll Specialist to oversee end-to-end payroll for multiple operating entities in the Northeast. You will ensure timely, compliant payroll delivery and act as the primary regional owner of Paylocity processes, coordinating with HR and Operations.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of payroll experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations (federal, state, local).
• Experience managing multi-state payroll.
• Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS (Paylocity, ADP, Workday).
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for regional locations.
• Reconcile General Ledger entries for weekly payrolls and month-end accruals.
• Review and approve payroll transactions and adjustments for accuracy.
• Prepare payroll reports and analytics for management decisions.
• Lead payroll system implementations, upgrades and integrations.
• Develop and maintain payroll policies, controls, and security.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field

5+ years of progressive payroll experience with supervisory/managerial experience

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations

Experience managing multi-state payroll

Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS (Paylocity, ADP, Workday, or similar)

Advanced Excel and reporting skills

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
