Job summary

PAM Health seeks a Regional Director of Managed Care to secure and optimize payor contracts across markets. You will lead relationship-building with payors and drive strategic contracting to support PAM Health facilities and the Corporate Office.

You will develop and maintain payor summaries, collaborate with the CBO and operations, and translate market opportunities into actionable contracting strategies that improve access and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years in a network/managed care contracting role or public payor program.
• Knowledge, skills and abilities: payor certifications a plus, strong financial acumen, effective written communication, entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and negotiate managed care contracts to meet PAM Health objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with local, regional, and national payors and leadership.
• Provide contract summaries and drive rate increases where justified.
• Collaborate with Central Billing Office and facilities to resolve payor issues.
• Identify opportunities to expand PAM Health facilities contracts and payer networks.
