Job summary

ScionHealth is seeking a senior leader to drive managed care strategy and payer relationships across the market. You will design and implement programs to improve referrals, educate payors on Kindred services, and expand steerage opportunities, with most work occurring outside facilities.

The role requires extensive knowledge of managed care systems, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed to build regional partnerships and execute strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum five years healthcare experience.
• Three years in healthcare managed care business development.
• Knowledge of the Post-Acute Industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the managed care strategy, operations, and service design for the market area.
• Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of the managed care information system and related education.
• Identify outcomes and issues impacting future managed care admissions and opportunities.
• Present CEU programs to referral sources, hospitals, MCOs, and Kindred employees.
• Educate managed care organizations about Kindred programs and outcomes.
