OneOncology is seeking a Director of Payer Relations to lead PBM contracting strategies across our network of practices. The role partners with practice leadership to optimize reimbursement, manage relationships, and drive value-based care initiatives while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The candidate will oversee contract negotiations, monitor industry trends, and coach a team in a matrix environment, with a focus on achieving financial targets and strategic objectives for the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years working with PBM contracting or related payer contracting.
• 5+ years of people management experience, including remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, negotiation, and management of PBM contracts across the network.
• Ensure contracts meet financial targets and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor PBM industry trends and regulatory developments to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize reimbursement and value-based care initiatives.
• Coach and develop team members; drive strategic initiatives with VP alignment.
