Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Regional Account Manager - Market Access to execute payor strategy across commercial plans, MedAdv and Medicaid. You will drive access for MIGS devices, educate providers, and build sustainable coverage pathways in assigned states. Extensive travel expected.

The role requires 5+ years in payor/reimbursement in medical devices, with ophthalmic practice management experience and strong CMS knowledge. Remote U.S. location with regional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced life science or business degree preferred.
• 5+ years in payor/reimbursement in medical devices.
• 2+ years ophthalmic practice management and revenue cycle.
• Ability to interpret MAC LCDs and CMS regulations.
• Experience with CPT and ICD-10 coding; payer strategy desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional payor strategies to secure and maintain coverage, coding and reimbursement.
• Partner with Sales to educate customers and remove access barriers.
• Conduct reimbursement seminars on local payor coverage criteria and requirements.
• Build relationships with payor medical directors and regulatory bodies to influence policy.
• Serve as regional payor expert guiding internal teams on reimbursement processes.
• Engage with Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and state ophthalmic groups.
