Job summary

Extensive field travel (30%-50%) is required. Responsibilities include seminars, policy advocacy with payors, and ensuring compliant reimbursement across Commercial, MedAdv, and Medicaid, with strong emphasis on MIGS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; life science or business preferred.
• 5+ years in payor/reimbursement for medical devices.
• 2+ years in ophthalmic practice management and billing.
• Ability to interpret MAC LCDs and CMS provisions for Medicare Advantage.
• Strong payor strategy, reimbursement, and account management experience; product launch exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional payor strategies for coverage and reimbursement.
• Partner with Sales to remove access barriers and resolve challenges.
• Conduct reimbursement seminars via videoconference or in person.
• Build relationships with payor medical directors and policy staff.
• Serve as regional payor expert guiding billing and appeals processes.
• Engage with Commercial Plans, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and state groups.
