Job summary

Bausch + Lomb in the United States seeks a RAM to drive payor strategy for surgical glaucoma products. You will secure coverage, coding, and reimbursement across Commercial, MedAdv, and Medicaid while educating providers and stakeholders.

Travel ~30-50% is expected. The role focuses on building payer relationships, resolving reimbursement barriers, and guiding internal teams on payment pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced life science or business degree preferred.
• 5+ years in payor/reimbursement in medical devices, Part B exposure.
• 2+ years ophthalmic practice management or reimbursement related to MIGS.
• Ability to interpret MAC LCDs and CMS regulations for Medicare Advantage.
• Proven payor strategy, reimbursement, and account management experience.
• Strong executive presence and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional payor strategies for coverage and reimbursement.
• Collaborate with Sales to remove access barriers for customers.
• Conduct reimbursement seminars on local payor criteria and requirements.
• Build relationships with payor medical directors and policy staff.
• Serve as subject-matter expert for payor policy in MIGS reimbursement.
• Engage with Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and state groups; travel 30%–50%.
