Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is seeking a Patient Services Support Specialist to warmly greet patients, schedule appointments, and ensure accurate data entry of demographics and insurance. This role covers clinics throughout the Dallas, TX area with travel between assigned locations.

You will train new PSR staff, provide front desk coverage as needed, and collaborate with regional staff to coordinate preauthorization and eligibility verification while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in a medical office.
• Experience with patient management software; Raintree preferred.
• Exceptional phone manner and customer service.
• Attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, and callers and provide high quality customer service.
• Schedule appointments and enter patient demographics and insurance information accurately.
• Coordinate preauthorization, eligibility, and benefits.
• Train new PSR staff and provide front desk coverage as needed.
• Support regional clinics and monitor authorization processes and data entry.
