Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Regional Lead Patient Access to lead a field-based team of Patient Access Liaisons, shaping strategic direction and ensuring delivery of patient services. The role requires managing performance, training, and compliance while partnering with Area Sales Directors and other stakeholders to optimize patient access to medications.

The ideal candidate will have advanced degrees with significant Patient Access experience, strong leadership, and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ / 4+ / 6+ years of Patient Access experience respectively.
• Experience in pharma or medical industry preferred.
• Strong leadership, training, and compliance track record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of patient access liaison professionals.
• Accountable for performance, training, and compliance of the team.
• Develop and track key performance metrics aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support patient access to medications.
• Coordinate team participation in national and local patient meetings and events.
