Job summary

Xeris Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks a Patient Access Manager (PAM) to work in the Central I region. This field-based role focuses on assisting patients and caregivers, guiding them through insurance navigation, prior authorizations, appeals, and education about therapies and disease states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, Business/Marketing, Nursing or related field; Advanced degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with patients and families to guide access to therapy, including insurance navigation and prior authorization processes.
• Educate patients on disease state, products, and payer policies to enable therapy initiation and continuation.
• Coordinate documentation for coverage and communicate with internal teams and external partners.
• Identify and communicate solutions for barriers to access and connect patients to available resources and patient assistance programs.
