South Texas College seeks a Coordinator - External Affairs to support community outreach, partnership development, and external engagement within a defined service area. The role reports to the Director of External Affairs and focuses on strengthening awareness of STC programs through strategic community collaboration.

The position involves coordinating meetings, campus visits, and presentations with government, educational, business, and civic partners, and requires travel within the service

Competenze

Bachelor's degree required.
Master's degree preferred.
At least two years of experience in a professional setting.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Windows environment.

Mansioni

Develops and maintains relationships with community organizations and stakeholders within the assigned service area.
Identifies and supports strategic partnership opportunities with campus leadership and departments.
Coordinates informational meetings, campus visits, and presentations with municipal, county, state, and federal stakeholders.
Represents South Texas College at community meetings, civic functions, and regional events.
Maintains records of stakeholder contacts and outreach activities; prepares regular reports.
