Job summary

The Town of Castle Rock is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee Parks Operations, supervise maintenance crews, and coordinate daily field activities. You will manage schedules, safety, and quality, including snow removal responsibilities during winter months.

The role requires CDL class B or the ability to obtain within six months, along with supervisory experience and a background in parks maintenance. Benefits are competitive and the role may involve on-call winter duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• At least 3 years' experience in open space management or parks maintenance; 1 year supervisory experience preferred
• Colorado Class B CDL is required or obtainable within 6 months; National Playground Certification and Backflow Certification are preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, oversight, and leadership for Parks Maintenance Technicians and volunteers
• Plan and schedule maintenance work within the assigned region
• Ensure safety, quality, and performance standards; coordinate with other departments
• Oversee snow removal operations and winter on-call responsibilities
• Perform minor repairs on vehicles, equipment, and facilities
