Job summary

Civicworks is seeking a facilities management leader for Vermont State Parks to oversee infrastructure and maintenance programs across 17 parks in the Northeastern region, including Waterbury Area, Groton State Forest, and Northeast Kingdom. You will guide major facility improvements, preventative maintenance scheduling, and supervise five regional maintenance staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong facility management, contracting, and personnel leadership skills, with a passion for parks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 3+ years of park maintenance, construction, trail work, or project coordination.
• OR Associate’s degree plus 5+ years related experience including 3+ years supervisory experience.
• OR High school diploma plus 7+ years related experience including 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Experience supervising and training personnel in a decentralized organization.
• Knowledge of state and local building codes and contract management.
• Valid driver's license required for travel to work sites.
