Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety-conscious team in Arizona. This route runs from Arizona to Nevada/Utah and averages 2,800 miles per week.

Average $200-250K per year with bi-weekly home time. Compensation includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay. Clean Harbors emphasizes health and safety and equal opportunity in employment.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to effectively use technology such as mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the priority by following safe work practices and policies.
• Operates tractor-trailer units.
• Adheres to weights and proper utilization of units.
• Loads and unloads hazardous and non-hazardous waste and secures loads properly.
• Places vehicle placards in accordance with DOT requirements.
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS
