We are currently seeking to add a Regional Operations Manager to our team. This position is responsible for leading plant managers and their respective teams toward operational excellence across multiple manufacturing sites. This role ensures branch operations exceed sales and performance goals in a safe, efficient, and customer-centric manner while promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and team development.

This is an on-site role reporting to the C-Suite, and candidates must be willing to travel as needed to assigned plants in Indiana & Minnesota.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Direct, coach, and mentor plant managers in performance optimization, employee development, and leadership practices.
  • Support and evaluate the hiring, training, and development of manufacturing leaders.
  • Lead strategic planning for future operational success; monitor operational performance, analyze trends, and report issues or opportunities to executive leadership.
  • Oversee inventory levels, logistics, and facilities to ensure operational efficiency; support budgeting, cost category management, and project execution within the region.
  • Act as the primary liaison between regional sites and corporate leadership.
  • Identify and remove operational roadblocks and leverage corporate resources to support production.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, purchasing, and inside sales to ensure customer satisfaction and business alignment.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives across facilities, driving standardization, efficiency, and measurable performance gains.
  • Promote cross-plant collaboration to share best practices and elevate overall performance.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to defects and production quality, and work closely with quality assurance teams to address root causes and implement improvements.
  • Encourage and model adherence to safety protocols, promote a culture of proactive safety awareness in workplace practices.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale manufacturing processes, preferably in consumer products or building materials.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and supply chain coordination.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as required to facilities within assigned region.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least three (3) years in a regional/multi-site leadership role.
  • Experience in bath fixtures, building materials, or similar manufacturing industries.

Physical Requirements

  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing facility, including exposure to production equipment, materials, and processes.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking within a manufacturing environment.
